Pros
The pay, at the time, that I was with the company was on par with the top that the industry was offering. The benefits were lacking, but the pay, as well as the comp-time benefit was great.
Cons
I wish that I could say that the work was meaningful, but as an medium-level engineer, I found myself working on tasks that support staff should have been undertaking--I didn't get an advanced degree to be a CAD operator. Because I was not the most experienced person on the project, there is no way for these tasks to have distributed to others, or for management to have tried to shift resources to make it happen.
