Pros

- Still small enough where management hears the concerns of the little guys. They are constantly updating benefits and trying to make things better for employees. 401k just got increased to 10% match, etc... which is a little unreal. 15 days pto + 10 days in December. $60/per diems. No travel Sunday/Friday... etc I'm sure the other reviews have already hyped this - Good mix of clients both big and small so you still get breadth of knowledge and a variety of experiences w/ different systems - Love the no bs management style. Chris Schellman is very transparent with firm numbers and knows what motivates employees - Very happy with the support for certifications here. They are eager to help employees add those letters after their names and to offer trainings. I really like that most management are all CISAs, CISSPs, because it shows good support for career development and also more competent employees - All expenses paid company party, especially with plus one every year - Management is generally all super cool here and supportive of work life balance. It's rare that they would ask you to turn something around within a business day or anything like that. As long as you stay on top of things, hours worked is very manageable compared to Big 4. More on this in the Cons section...

Cons

- Major con is that unless you are in Tampa, you are working remotely or on your own at the client site the majority of the time. So unless you are really good at managing your own time and staying motivated, it can be easy to fall behind. It's also hard to give up the friendly interaction w/ coworkers at an office and firm happy hrs. They try to make up for it by bringing everyone together with a huge company trip each year which does kind of make up for it - Sometimes the turnaround time is a bit too fast on smaller engagements - especially 1st year clients. Again, it can be easy to fall behind if you are staffed on multiple in a row - Managers can seem a bit stretched here, but with recent waves of new promotions this is hopefully going to get better - Learning program is still pretty young, so there's nothing like 40 hrs of mandatory training like at the Big 4. You also have to manage your own CPEs so if you have a lot of certs it can be a bit cumbersome

Pros

Management frequently improves benefits. Management really knows the business well. The company has historically been well insulated from economic downturns. So many opportunities to stand out and make a name for yourself

Cons

Data driven decisions still a work in progress. Long term vision is likely 1 ish year.

Pros

The people. Peers are great to work with and very supportive. Some of the leaders in the teams are as well. Perks were GREAT but have slowly been taken away or the costs went up.

Cons

Where do I begin? Wholesale executive turnover. Technology projects that we're supposed to say are awesome but aren't really that great. They take up more time to figure out than they're worth and we know those are meant to take our jobs. AI, offshore, temp labor. No thanks. It was a place I loved working at but has slowly just become a job that makes me feel like I should be watching for somewhere else to go. Just in case. The culture has changed quite a bit too. It used to feel like a place where we all wanted to work together but that's slowly fading.
