Pros

Excellent pay, Great benefits package Fringe benefits and perks are beyond amazing including: -work from home when not traveling -quarterly bonuses -non-standard travel bonuses -annual company-wide retreat (all expenses paid for you and a guest) -technology allowance -gym allowance -two-weeks pto at end of year (in addition to regular vacation) -training reimbursement -bi-weekly all-hands meeting to discuss overall company health/direction This company takes care of its employees. Period. They truly do strive to maintain a work/life balance, which isn't always easy in this line of work, and they do as well as can be expected. Management is hard-working, knowledgeable, and is always listening to the employees to try to better the work environment.

Cons

Due to the nature of the business, there is ALWAYS going to be too much work for the # of employees, so the workload can be somewhat hectic and stressful at times. However, this is to be expected in this line of work, and I cannot say that the workload at BrightLine is anything more than at other companies that do the same work. It is what it is. For those people who thrive on face-to-face interaction with co-workers, unless you live in Tampa and can go to the HQ office every day, you're going to be working alone for the most part. The corporate culture, albeit friendly, team-oriented and casual, appears to be geared to the younger 20-somethings. Older employees and employees with families are certainly welcomed, (births are celebrated company-wide, for example), but may not find common ground around the water cooler with other younger single employees with no children. However, because the interaction with other employees is minimal, this isn't really an issue for the most part.

Pros

Management frequently improves benefits. Management really knows the business well. The company has historically been well insulated from economic downturns. So many opportunities to stand out and make a name for yourself

Cons

Data driven decisions still a work in progress. Long term vision is likely 1 ish year.

Pros

The people. Peers are great to work with and very supportive. Some of the leaders in the teams are as well. Perks were GREAT but have slowly been taken away or the costs went up.

Cons

Where do I begin? Wholesale executive turnover. Technology projects that we're supposed to say are awesome but aren't really that great. They take up more time to figure out than they're worth and we know those are meant to take our jobs. AI, offshore, temp labor. No thanks. It was a place I loved working at but has slowly just become a job that makes me feel like I should be watching for somewhere else to go. Just in case. The culture has changed quite a bit too. It used to feel like a place where we all wanted to work together but that's slowly fading.
