      Pros

      The culture and people are awesome - a big reason I have worked here for almost 30 years There are a wide variety of career opportunities across the US and Canada Great pay and benefits program

      Cons

      The corporate headquarters is in Green Bay, WI. Many of the support departments are based there - living in snow country may be a turn-off to some. But there are many other job opportunities in Sales, Operations and Customer Service throughout the country.

      Pros

      Dedicated local account, driver leaders are nice, equipment is decent.

      Cons

      $12/hr on duty, not driving pay. That’s ridiculous and includes everything except driving. Work can be inconsistent at times, hours can be long, no holiday or mileage bonus pay for a long time after hire, benefits are expensive. Schneider won’t allow drivers to use Bluetooth or any other hands-free device, INCLUDING HEARING AIDS, to receive calls while driving. This makes having a life outside of work and scheduling appointments almost impossible.
