Pros
Great coworkers, activities to boost morale, good location.
Cons
Micromanagers that don’t do much to help before it’s too late. Most managers on the sales team are not supportive. Training is entirely too short and you’re not fully prepared once you’re on the sales floor. A director became a tyrant after 2 directors quit in January. Petty and spiteful managers in sales. Very very high turnover as of January when they changed the pay structure. A lot of people have left for better opportunities and was encouraged to quit by one of the directors because his ego is bigger than his brain. The cost of shipping is not competitive at all so you’re beat out by competitors all of the time to the point where you feel it’s worthless. Brokers are very slow to book loads once you secure them. No one in the office looks happy anymore. High stress environment. Always a feeling of dread and lack of stability working there. Lack of protection when co workers are being sexist or racist. They blame the victims, and do nothing to reprimand the attackers so you don’t feel safe there.
