Pros

Some talented teammembers who genuinely want to make a difference.

Cons

Leadership is incredibly out of touch with reality. Every year, they ask for our feedback in surveys, supposedly to improve things, but nothing changes. The disconnect is huge: team members are underpaid, and most recently, mass demotions. Yet,executive leadership rewards themselves with unmerited promotions and annual bonuses with no clear metrics to hold themselves accountable. It’s clear who the company values, and it isn’t the hard-working employees who keep things running day-to-day. Promotions are reserved for the “yes” people who don’t challenge the status quo, so there’s zero incentive for genuine innovation or constructive feedback. The politics are so heavy that anything takes ages to get done, and even then, done poorly. As a result, SchoolsFirst is rapidly losing their competitive edge, and it’s only a matter of time before this catches up.

Pros

Health care Benefits Coworkers were nice

Cons

Pay was low for what they expected. Micromanaging was at an all time high. The company would always boast about how much they made the year before but they would give their employees a cookie instead of a bonus or raise. Advancement opportunities was rare.
