Pros

Pay, benefits, never a dull moment, best product in the industry. Tons of OT, no matter what they say. Job security

Cons

Since the mergers things have gotten progressively worse. I've seen steps in the right direction, followed by two steps in the wrong direction. Treat your employees better, hire good talent, release the bad. You'd almost have to light a customer on fire to get fired. Time management is horrible. Causing hard working employees to not get the training they need, or the home time they need. Which leads to disgruntled employees, which give horrible customer service. And management will just shrug it off.

Pros

Great work/life balance, reliable teamwork and support from management, opportunities for growth and exposure to new skills.

Cons

Coaching/overseeing a team in itself has a set of cons, which is what I primarily handle on a daily basis. This comes with any job, but you will have people on your team who need to improve on things such as lack of communication, lack of effort, no work ethic, and lack of skills. Motivating them can be difficult at times, and then you always seem to have a few who do things to avoid work. An accumulation of all these factors subsequently creates more, unnecessary, and redundant work for us. These types of people tend to eliminate themselves out over time due to poor performance and/or quit.

Cons

work/life balance, management, office politics and favoritism, lack of organization and communication, very inclusive unless you're a woman and have an opinion, job titles do not match role expectations and job duties
