Pros

Some of the people that you work with are really great! Really friendly and will help you out if they can and when they aren’t overwhelmed with their own workload.

Cons

CRAPPY MANAGEMENT! You will be overworked beyond what you can imagine! There is no support from management or supervisors. Supervisors have their own work and can’t help you when you need them. It’s not their fault though. Very understaffed and will not hire new people unless it’s actually taking a toll on the company’s pocket! Training will not actually prepare you for the workload! And when you’re working you really have no one to help you but yourself since everyone is busy!

Pros

Great work/life balance, reliable teamwork and support from management, opportunities for growth and exposure to new skills.

Cons

Coaching/overseeing a team in itself has a set of cons, which is what I primarily handle on a daily basis. This comes with any job, but you will have people on your team who need to improve on things such as lack of communication, lack of effort, no work ethic, and lack of skills. Motivating them can be difficult at times, and then you always seem to have a few who do things to avoid work. An accumulation of all these factors subsequently creates more, unnecessary, and redundant work for us. These types of people tend to eliminate themselves out over time due to poor performance and/or quit.
