Pros

They make money, focus on the customers' due dates, are moving toward paperless operations, are committed to IT based solutions. Some talented people work here. Good resume builder in the manufacturing job market as many large corporations need gaskets.

Cons

Very aggressive work environment leading to high levels of stress and often to disputes. Workers form coalitions of support that are against others. Not looked favorably upon if you’re on the losing side; at the end of the day managers want consensus; political scores are kept. There are three classes of people: expendables, pets, and country club members. Personal politics seep into business decisions. No real diversity – mostly white, straight, 20-30yo family types; if you don’t fit into these you’ll have a tough time. Too much day to day micromanagement to allow any real independent decision making. Everything you do is being watched and you must keep notes of what you do if you’re smart. Workers are pressured to come up with crazy narratives to defend their decisions. If you aren’t good at putting on a show without making it obvious you might not succeed. Employees are treated like pieces of machinery. Too many four alarm fire drills. Human resource strategy is “use then lose." Production workers are the most accountable for more modest pay and work life balance.

Pros

Hours are decent, you are out earlier in the day than most people

Cons

Management is awful. HR is worse. There is more drama and pettiness in this company than I have ever experienced and unfortunately the management is in on it too. They promote unqualified and undeserving people to higher positions just so the managers don't actually have to manage. Turn over rate is incredibly high and most people talk regularly about quitting. Many Inappropriate relationships between staff and management. Toxic employees that make the environment uncomfortable and an hr rep that couldn't care less. New inexperienced employees come in now earning more than some that have stuck by that company and it's revolving management door for years. Do not apply here
