Pros

PTO time is generous. Talented and dedicated co-workers. Good place for entry level workers. I did have an educated people oriented manager for my first 8 years. The core values are great.

Cons

Favoritism is obvious. There is a tendency to hire and promote non-skilled personnel versus promoting and treating long term colleagues respectfully. Recruiting seems to focus on hiring colleagues at the lowest rate possible. The salary is very low compared to all of the other TPAs in Columbus. There is some very unprofessional behavior. Examiners with no experience outside of their job and with no people skills are promoted. There is no consideration for new ideas because these young leaders can't think outside of their non-experienced box and seem threatened - they would prefer to talk over you than to listen. My supervisor emailed and messaged her direct report confidential information about other colleagues. The colleague survey is a joke and used punitively. "Employer of choice" is a manipulated term. We are supposed to be paperless, but it was too different and intimidating for my manager to try. There is NO exit interview, although a survey is requested and CR states they want to verify why they are losing a long term colleague.

Pros

The benefits are okay I suppose but they'll deduct your PTO from your severance pay. It's basically a ripoff loan.

Cons

-Constant harassment and hounding from Team Leads. -Unrealistic expectations for case load productivity. Mind you, the maximum expected amount of diaries to be completed is 80+. You're expected to make and take calls while also juggling case notes, emails, and Teams messages that pull you away from your current task. And the workload is moved constantly, regardless of an employee is absent, tardy, or even still present despite being heavy across the board. But you're expected to finish it all "productively" within 8 hours. No overtime and minimal assistance. -Good audit scores don't matter. You could have 98% to 100% , leadership will burn you for missing a few notes or if you're behind on other people's work while also being behind on yours. They say they're understaffed but they refuse to hire more people unless it's your replacement. -You're practically working on a sinking ship.
