Pros

Sedgwick is a national third party claims administrator. Since they are national, there are opportunities around the country. The pay is decent, they provide good benefits, flexible hours & convenient locations.

Cons

The on-boarding process is inconsistent. Some people get individual one-on-one training over several weeks. Others get very little training and have to try to learn the systems through trial and error. There are online systems training courses, but they are not updated when the systems are "upgraded," making the training modules out of date and confusing. The systems are frequently slow or down. This wastes time and delays getting tasks completed. There is significant duplication built into the processes and procedures that also wastes time. Everyone works a full day, then goes home to log on and work some more.

Cons

Leadership are users and mean with a serious jealous streak in them once they see how smart you are. They are also racist towards African Americans but hire a couple to reflect that they are. This company does not foster diversity and inclusion. Workload out way the low pay No good benefits Minimal PTO hours No team building, just work work work Micro management at finest Leadership is also bias towards contractors and perms
