Pros
Get paid by how hard you work, how quickly and properly you process your work- If your work ethic is high, your pay should reflect that.
Cons
Components needed to complete your work are generally broken, the work pipeline is flawed, management is too complacent or lack competence in such a way that they wouldn't know what to do with any suggestions as to how to fix things.. they lack basic knowledge of most duties, making progression and efficiency essentially impossible. If they're feeling generous, you'll get lip service in their best HR tone as to why they can't keep things from getting progressively worse. The hours are completely unpredictable. This is expected of a clean desk position, however the aforementioned incompetence of management, in addition to that of most other employees, will add unnecessary hours and strife to your day, regardless of how hard you work. Even if your resolve doesn't break, your body will start to. Work injuries abound, including that of my own, which is hardly handled well by management nor taken as seriously as it should be. If you like anything from 4-15 hour days, this is the place for you.
