Pros

Working remote is about the only thing I liked about the job.

Cons

Everything about this job. The training is minimal and then you are put on phone calls. You are held accountable for anything that is wrong during a phone call. I even got points deducted during a phone call that was audited because I coughed during the call and then apologized, as I did not have time to hit the mute button. The management is a joke. They do not know much and you can ask 10 Team Leads a question and get 10 different answers. They ask you to work overtime but it is not appreciated nor do you get rewarded for working it. Pay raises are non-existent. They can only promote a percentage of the staff at any given time. So,seven if you ace your interview and have the skills doesn't mean you get promoted if it will not leave them with enough SCR's. You get PTO but have to put in bids to get them time off. They do not process and pay alot of claims on time or accurately, claims are denied in error for no medical when medical is on file or claim is waiting to be reviewed by Examiners. So callers are irate and upset because claim not being paid so you will be dealing with alot of irate and upset callers. Examiners never answer their phones so you basically are answering calls to take a message to send to the Examiner, who is not going to call them back. SCR's are not allowed to make any changes to the claim in order to get it processed, send any information or documentation to the caller but just document call and move on. System is very out dated and there are too many applications. Overall, the company is a joke and would not advise anyone to work here.

Pros

The benefits are okay I suppose but they'll deduct your PTO from your severance pay. It's basically a ripoff loan.

Cons

-Constant harassment and hounding from Team Leads. -Unrealistic expectations for case load productivity. Mind you, the maximum expected amount of diaries to be completed is 80+. You're expected to make and take calls while also juggling case notes, emails, and Teams messages that pull you away from your current task. And the workload is moved constantly, regardless of an employee is absent, tardy, or even still present despite being heavy across the board. But you're expected to finish it all "productively" within 8 hours. No overtime and minimal assistance. -Good audit scores don't matter. You could have 98% to 100% , leadership will burn you for missing a few notes or if you're behind on other people's work while also being behind on yours. They say they're understaffed but they refuse to hire more people unless it's your replacement. -You're practically working on a sinking ship.
