Pros

Busy season from October 15-December 17th with almost unlimited overtime. Company has great trainers who educate on Medicare and related information.

Cons

Company is heavily micromanaging their employees. They advertise "make 120k plus" but MOST agents make around 55k per year. They used to focus on being commission agnostic and only selling MAPD's and SUPPS but now require dental, vision, critical illness plans etc. Recently, the company updated their Select Care software without testing it first, and lost a lot of their lead partners and money out of agents pockets due to not being able to work. The compensation plan takes a lawyer to review, they look for ways to strip away money. Company won't last another 5 years.

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate your letting us know that we have great trainers. Our company is growing quickly and investing heavily in technology. We realize that there will be hiccups along the way, but we have a whole team that is dedicated to readily address and resolve them as they happen and continue to improve the process for everyone. Part of our AEP recruitment process is showing the candidates the actual historical wages where $120K annualized is earned by the top 20% during production, while the average is well north of $70K. We do offer a full suite of products to enable our agents help as many consumers as possible. Many find our AEP sales position a great opportunity to get trained and start a new career in the industry. Despite our best efforts, we regret that you did not have a positive experience with us. We wish you better opportunities ahead of you.

Pros

Annual bonus based on employee and company performance

Cons

Annual salary is way below national average, especially based on years of experience. They've talked about promoting all QA Analysts to QA Engineer for years (due to the fact we're all fulfilling QA Engineer roles but with the Analyst title and pay), but every year they had a new excuse as to why they couldn't promote everyone. The workload far outweighs the pay.
