For this specific position, they will train heavily on AEP (where all the money is), but very little on the other side of your job. The catch is you have to 'try out' to make the money making team. There is a limited number of spots and you'll be competing against many tenured agents. If you don't 'make the team' you will be making 15$ an hour and need MAD sales skills to make commission for a non sales role. It's a lot of 'cold calling' type work on the other side that you're not very prepared for. Clients do not want to speak to you for the most part, are confused about who you are or just don't care. You will call people 5-6 times a day (different agents calling throughout the day), you have many points to hit to get a different type of bonus and you can have money taken out of your paycheck for not getting this done.
