Pros

Good product. Used to be a fun environment

Cons

They are a product-centric company with zero regard or respect for sales people. Changes quota sometimes every month with larger and larger targets and smaller and smaller payouts. Either you hit the new targets or you are gone. Even if you consistently hit targets, you be gone at the whim of upper management when they decide to have another mass layoff in hopes of extracting another 5% to the share price. Terrible place to work

Dear Sender, Thank you for your input. We've indeed strategically shifted our focus to a more product-centric or, let's say, business-oriented approach. And it's true—we expect the Sales team to meet their targets, though we understand that not everyone may achieve this, which is normal in business. We want to assure you that there's no room for disrespectful behavior towards our employees in our company. Our team strives to offer competitive compensation, benefits, and a positive atmosphere. Best of luck with your future endeavours. Yours, the Semrush Team

Pros

Very thorough onboarding and enablement process. Great culture and people. Excellent company & team communication.

Cons

There's a lot to learn, which isn't a con - but something good to know.

Pros

None, get ready to be micro managed and have unobtainable quotas.

Cons

Management is clueless on how to run a channel program. US team is run like a college frat with condescending management. No official PIP, they will invite you to a meeting with HR and fire you.

Dear Sender, We're sorry to hear that your experience with us didn't meet your expectations. We recognize that developing and scaling a successful channel program comes with challenges, which is why we invest in hiring experienced specialists for these roles. As with any performance-driven position, managers may ask questions, provide guidance, and regularly review progress to help teams stay aligned with business goals. We understand that these interactions can be perceived differently depending on individual experiences. We appreciate your perspective and wish you all the best in your future career. Yours, the Semrush Team
