Sensient usually pays well BUT they do get their money from you in long hours, harassment and other work issues

I read these glowing 4 and 5 star endorsements on Glassdoor and it doesn't seem to ring true with my experience and those of friends still at Sensient. I can't believe a review that the biggest "con" at Sensient is the dress code. Really??! It almost sounds like "canned" reviews from the Human Resources Department or a few "captive" employees. Hourly employees are treated poorly, never consulted and forced to work unplanned and last-minute overtime. Middle managers just try to keep their jobs and do whatever upper management tells them to do without concern for anybody else in the system. Upper managers at the divisions are always looking over their shoulder and worry about the next edict from Milwaukee. I got out and got a good job with a good company that actually respected me and I have never looked back
