Most of the people are determined and want to do a great job. As in any business, some people are out for themselves, like my boss. For the most part, well resourced. If you know how to lead and manage your business, you will do well if you like the culture.
Cons
Executive management is secretive and does not inform their managers of what is going on until it already happens. Therefore, if you want to grow at Sensient know how to lie or be deceptive to your managers and reports and you will be more successful here at Sensient. Be prepared to be condescended to and treated like less than you actually are. Even if you are integral in growing Sensient business $$ millions in revenue, just know your contributions will go largely unacknowledged, and your boss will take the credit for your and your teams hard work. Dress code is antiquated and doesn't confirm with the food industry. Culture is very military, do what your told and keep your mouth shut.
