Pros
Healthcare, yearly bonus, regular raises, mostly meaningful work, paid tuition or tuition reimbursement. Many truly lovely, talented people. Community-oriented.
Cons
Micromanagement or lack of management, general managerial inconsistency, serious communication issues that stifle solutions and prevent growth. There are some very intelligent and skilled people in this company. Unfortunately, many of them are underutilized to the detriment of the company. Turnover is pretty high, but leadership doesn't seem to understand that it's because information is withheld. Additionally, like virtually every company these days, experience is confused for skill. Experience doing something does not mean the person did it well. A solid vision and evidence-based strategies for goal achievement are more important than having sat in some position for a specific period of time.
