Pros
I've worked for a couple other Property Management companies and I've got to say, Sequoia by far, knows how to take care of their employees. Not only do they have "Random Acts" for employees such as SURPRISE ice cream gifts cards, amazon cards, etc.. they also encourage employees to participate and have fun with monthly contest. It may not seem significant, but these smalls things promote a fun and enjoyable workplace where employees look forward to coming to work ready to put their best foot forward simply because they feel appreciated. Our effort and work is based off a sense of loyalty to an amazing company that cares about us vs. fear of being reprimanded; That's true leadership that starts from the top and works it's way down to encompass the entire team. Not only does the recruiting team share the spirit of Sequoia, but when the CEO himself continuously encourages us all to do the right thing so we can sleep well at night, I know that I am in the right place.
In this industry, you have to be tough as nails but working for Sequoia, I can still do what's expected of me without compromising my personal moral values. It's so refreshing and take a big weight off my shoulders. From what I know of Sequoia prior to joining and from what I've seen, they are committed to continuous improvement as they continue to evolve and improve in various aspects of the company i.e., more efficient software, training, hiring/on-boarding, accounting, etc..
Cons
None that I can think of.
