Sequoia is the best company I have ever had the privilege of working for. I came from retail management, never having a day off, working 18 hour days, missing every holiday, my mental health was the worst it has ever been. I started as a Leasing Consultant with absolutely no property management experience. The training department is the elite. Sequoia as a whole does not want to set you up to fail. There are recourses available to you for any questions, there are also team members at any site that are happy to help. There are so many benefits with this company. Health and dental, 401k, and rest and recharge days, purpose days, me days, all paid time off for you to rest, volunteer, and just take a day to chill. I was absolutely blown away by the holiday lunches! I then moved up to Leasing Manager. Being promoted was an amazing feeling. i received a card from our CEO that was personalized congratulating me. i also received shout outs on the team portal from team members throughout the company. Sequoia actually cares about their employees. They treat us like people and respect our time, and genuinely want us to do well not only at work, but in our own lives as well. I am so excited to be promoted again, and I am very excited to continue my career with Sequoia!
