Pros
Lots of days off during the year where they close the office completely to let their employees do fun days and rest and relaxation days only to come back to pissed off residents and vendors. All of this while refusing to pay invoices to vendors making their lives miserable as they work diligently to get their money so they can make overhead and payroll.
Cons
This is a company that clearly has an identity crisis based on their mission, values and what really goes on. They do not value their lower ranks, often times referring to them as 'just (title)". They do not support their people and demote you without any documentation whatsoever preceding your demotion. When they have good people, they do nothing to recognize them, it's all a matter of whether you're part of a clique. They have refused to mentor and passed over so many people who worked hard and career pathed themselves with this company then jumped and got much better jobs right from the start with other companies. The entire marketing team is white, and the ONLY corporate office employees that are non-white are IT and HR where they probably need some diversity since it's non-existent elsewhere. The corporate office has a lynch mentality where you're toast if they just decide they want you to be. The company also does not fund some of their communities so resources at some properties is wonderful whereas others cannot meet the needs of the residents or property needs making day to day operations impossible. They close the office for training, rest days and any other time they feel like it making it difficult for residents and vendors to conduct business.
