Pros

The people at ServiceTitan are the best of the best. They are extremely smart, very motivated, and I consider some to be very dear friends. The benefits that ServiceTitan provides are also very good.

Cons

If you are in a customer-facing role, it sometimes feels like there is no light at the end of the tunnel. There are issues that have been at this company for many years, yet they aren't being addressed. For example: our customers have very unrealistic expectations of the product, to the point that a customer-facing team will be on the phone with a customer screaming at them, cursing, and basically putting that employee down for something that the employee had no involvement in. This would be somewhat manageable if it was an occasional occurrence but it happens all of the time and the company does nothing to address this (by the way B2B companies should never be like this). They will put the customer before the employee (contrary to what they might say initially) and it causes these teams to be extremely burnt out.

Pros

The benefits are solid, including stock options and unlimited PTO, though I didn't feel especially encouraged to actually use the time off. The C-suite has a clear vision for where the company is headed. Peers are genuinely good to work with, and there's a shared sense that people want to do well and want each other to succeed. It's a growing company, so the stock could carry real value over the long run if that growth holds.

Cons

Leadership at the department level was my main concern. In my experience, the management style made it hard to raise concerns or disagree without it affecting how you were viewed on the team. Direction was often unclear and expectations shifted, which made it difficult to know what success looked like. Over my time here I saw a lot of capable people leave, some by choice and some not, and the turnover lined up with those leadership gaps.
