Pros

Excellent benefits, good pay and bonus program. The finance team all give 110% everyday. Daily lunch allowance if working over 10 hours in my dept was nice. I appreciated the severance package and the components they provided upon my layoff. All hands meetings are informative and interactive. Other members of the Team had experienced great opportunities fairy quickly in their ST careers.

Cons

Disappointed to not have had the opportunity to really take off here due to the elimination of over 200 positions (including mine) in Feb 2023. There was a bit of micromanagement but that may have been due to my role being a newly created "nice to have" position. Many functions felt disorganized and the shared Gmail is time consuming and can be confusing to monitor. I did not expect to have any work/life balance for a few months due to training but it seemed everyone in finance worked very long hours M-F. Unlimited PTO sounded good in the offer but I doubt too many can take much time off.

Pros

The benefits are solid, including stock options and unlimited PTO, though I didn't feel especially encouraged to actually use the time off. The C-suite has a clear vision for where the company is headed. Peers are genuinely good to work with, and there's a shared sense that people want to do well and want each other to succeed. It's a growing company, so the stock could carry real value over the long run if that growth holds.

Cons

Leadership at the department level was my main concern. In my experience, the management style made it hard to raise concerns or disagree without it affecting how you were viewed on the team. Direction was often unclear and expectations shifted, which made it difficult to know what success looked like. Over my time here I saw a lot of capable people leave, some by choice and some not, and the turnover lined up with those leadership gaps.
