Pros

The pay and benefits are excellent. Roles in most teams are fully remote or hybrid, and give you the option to choose if you live close to a physical office. Most of the people I directly work with are competent and friendly. Senior leadership genuinely believes in the products they sell and are relentless in their drive to be the "operating system of the trades". Depending on the type of person you are, you may find this mission inspiring and a great motivator to turn out quality work for the sake of improving customers' lives.

Cons

Sales runs the company in the worst way possible. There is a heavy emphasis on selling at all costs, often to an irresponsible degree, to the detriment of not only customers but also other teams who are forced to pick up the pieces. Workplace is extremely chaotic and disorganized due to poor execution of new initiatives. Regular, if not daily OT is expected (without reward if you're salaried) and W/L balance is abysmal. Many talented, loyal employees (some of which were with the company for years and were its biggest believers) were let go during the last layoff while the multi-million-dollar skyscraper HQ office sits empty and collects dust.

Pros

The benefits are solid, including stock options and unlimited PTO, though I didn't feel especially encouraged to actually use the time off. The C-suite has a clear vision for where the company is headed. Peers are genuinely good to work with, and there's a shared sense that people want to do well and want each other to succeed. It's a growing company, so the stock could carry real value over the long run if that growth holds.

Cons

Leadership at the department level was my main concern. In my experience, the management style made it hard to raise concerns or disagree without it affecting how you were viewed on the team. Direction was often unclear and expectations shifted, which made it difficult to know what success looked like. Over my time here I saw a lot of capable people leave, some by choice and some not, and the turnover lined up with those leadership gaps.
