      Pros

      Good work flexibility, you get to travel to some interesting places, lots of overtime pay. Most of the people on lower levels and some now former upper management very friendly and seem to care about their jobs. High concern for safety on the job.

      Cons

      Very limited room for advancement, desire to move from Survey to Design likely to be ignored without explanation, while still used as a 'potential future option' if the employee is willing to put up with career freeze, only advancement option is typically into people management, and they really look to be prioritizing their male employees over the few female ones. More recently unpredictable schedules, fluctuating between 20h and 70h work weeks; unclear expectations; prioritizing speed over quality of work. Starting 04/24 they put at least half the team, including most senior members, on TLO, but based on information from retained employees it is clearly intended to be a permanent Layoff.

      Pros

      I truly appreciated the quick response and interview process provided. Meeting with the Talent team first provided great insight to the company and benefits provided. Then the continued availability and interaction as the process continued was priceless and welcomed.

      Cons

      None that I can think of. There were some scheduling hiccups but nothing that caused any negative issues.

      Pros

      Sevan is a place where I feel seen and heard when I bring up things I want to see or change. It is a very collaborative environment, and I love that I get to work with such a great team and wonderful managers. They explain, are very thorough, transparent and are here to help me grow. Overall, best place I have worked at by far!

      Cons

      I really have no cons at the moment. I know working remote can be difficult, but the company is finding solutions to help ease that and help us all gather at different times of the year.
