Let's see... The houses are perpetually understaffed because you can make more money working at McDonalds. Literally. And the management keeps it that way. There are shifts in my house that have been vacant for almost a year. A year! And no one has even tried to fill them! That means week in, week out, certain clients have regularly been without regular staff! But I guess it saves the corporate structure some money, so it persists. No big deal, especially when no one from the Mentor Network corporate side has to ever see the people I work with.
I have worked for other Human Service companies in different states, and the Mentor Network is easily- hands down- the WORST one I have ever worked for.
