Pros
For the most part, genuinely nice people work here. The practice teams seem pretty close-knit, and people do go out of their way to help each other. It is a fairly flat organization which is unusual for a law firm.
Cons
I felt that this firm was dysfunctional on a lot of levels. HR was pretty non-existent. There was a specific female partner who was known not just to be difficult but downright abusive to others in her practice group. It was well-known throughout the firm but everyone preferred to turn a blind eye to it, presumably because she was bringing in a certain amount of money. It had been going on for several years before I decided that I had taken enough -- following several before me. It was pretty clear to me that nothing was going to change even with promises to the contrary. Although I enjoyed the work, it was a miserable place to come and work everyday.
