Sharp is out of touch with the times we live in. Despite being ahead of the game with technology they are behind in the way they market themselves. They expect sales reps to cold call like it's the 90's. No matter how good of a sales person you are most of the time you can't even get into buildings because of security or all you do is reach a receptionist. Sharp has telemarketers that work in each office but they never get appointments for the sales reps. If you trying cold calling on the phone yourself you never get the person you need so I am not surprised the telemarketers don't get appointments. It's honestly a pretty miserable job when trying to earn new business. Current customers were easy to keep but getting new ones was nearly impossible. I lived in a major metropolitan area that you think would be full of sales opportunities but no. Buildings are secure to stop sales peoples from just walking in!
