Pros

Well, all I can say is that this place at least provides a paycheck.

Cons

Promotions based on who you know, and very poor health insurance. Management focusing too much time on numbers.

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate the effort you put into giving us this constructive criticism because it gives us the opportunity to improve. Our associates are our greatest asset, so I'm disappointed to hear you feel undervalued. Associates are so important that they are mentioned in both our mission and our vision, which I hope you'll take the time to review. We aim to reward our employees for their dedication in a variety of ways, but especially through their benefits. If you are open to it, I'd like to discuss your concerns with your health insurance and help you get the most out of it. When we hire or promote, we aim to be fair in every decision we make because it’s simply the right thing to do. We do our best to fairly match the strengths of the candidates with the needs of the business in all circumstances. Thank you, -Deane Osner Talent Acquisition deane.osner@shawinc.com

Pros

Shaw offers a lot of opportunities for growth, great work life balance, very flexible, and has great values.

Cons

Very hard to get pay bumps / raises due to not having a standard annual review. They use "pay for performance" which allows them to dictate WHEN you receive a raise. Even if you're going above and beyond you really have to document every little thing you do here to argue for a raise.
