      Pros

      People, mobility within the company Can move up in the company really fast. Plants are located close to each other, so families do not constantly move around.

      Cons

      No cutting edge work. R&D is limited to latest fashion trends and not necessarily engineering aspects. Carpet is not necessarily a glamorous field.

      Pros

      Shaw offers a lot of opportunities for growth, great work life balance, very flexible, and has great values.

      Cons

      Very hard to get pay bumps / raises due to not having a standard annual review. They use "pay for performance" which allows them to dictate WHEN you receive a raise. Even if you're going above and beyond you really have to document every little thing you do here to argue for a raise.
