Pros
- very good social packet - employer really cares for the employees and their safety - no micromanagement, trust from the managers - whole day face to face trainings that changed the daily routine and were interesting
Cons
- weird system of salary groups and job groups - too much procedures, if you need an easy thing it has to go through all kind of departments before you get a simple answer from somebody - job content was boring - you sit and "solve" cases that are a very small part of a very complicated process that in other companies is reduced to 1 person but at Shell it has to go through a great number of departments - not many opportunities for changing your position - people spend years at the same position
