They Pay well probably due to losing guys so oftand paid vacation pretty much same as every other large corporate company's.
Cons
Management doesn't communicate seem confused due to being bought out by shermco. They lie about anything to get someone on board. For instance I was told little to no travel which was huge selling point due to having a baby from a divorce and no solid care to rely on. I was out of town almost 4 weeks straight after finishing the absolute overkill of company training I was stuck doing for a week . Every job I was on was all about hurry up an finish leading to mistakes or short cuts I saw everywhere, simply seen some just flat out testing wrong. Happy when you bust your balls to finish others tasks but turn the backs to you when needed. They will take advantage of new hires lots of bad mouthing behind other employees backs Can't get in touch with management or get responses even when alerting them of important info then when they fail to act on info they go right away to suggesting nobody told them with some BS speech as your reading the email that was never"sent". Too corporate and unprofessional to employees. Will suspend you based on a entirely false lie and proven lie from a corporate account throwing darts on a board waiting for something to stick in order to save money regardless of others. They will not contact person or tell them anything just suspended without pay no phone pc or truck.....take away any community with company or corporate to explain your side or defend yourself. Wait 5 days thru weekend no words toll 4pm day before Thanksgiving being told corporate decided to follow thru with termination when that was never on the table or spoke about why suspend someone with no pay during holidays just to fire them day before holiday with a phonecall from manager. Never ever experienced so much unprofessional BS after being told all these lies are to make things sound better in order to take you from your current job. Nobody listens to the new guys because they assume you don't know anything because they don't know anything about you. Multiple times spoke up in regards to in proper testing or concerns etc ..just to be ignored even after proving them wrong on several occasions not once did they apologize or say thanks good call. Major complex amongst Techs would never recommend working here when I was told how many before my hiring they had lost guys or fired them. Kicker was I found out same customer who complained had a failure on equipment shermco was testing in a diff state and site next day after that failure and shermco refused to fix it for some reason shocking that customer called to complain about anything possible and the new guy gets let go with little to no explanation and zero time to talk with anyone at corporate having all communication ability taken from you.,..talk about scapegoating... Complaint was for leaving torque wrench and paint pen on top of unit I was in process of torque checking when I was interrupted and asked to quickly assist on other work before going back to finish as I was only person even checking bolts that were removed. 8 hrs before we even left sight customer went up after me and took pictures of wrench andarker purposely sitting together for my eventual return to complete equipment. They used photo to paint a total lie in there favor, funny thing was the tools were removed and equipment put back together by time we left site. I wasn't aware of customer or the picture being taken till returning to work on Monday after the weekend to be totally hit by surprise after being suspended out of nowhere with no warning. Thanks guys really helped make Thanksgiving & Xmas special for my family .
