Pros

The projects we work are what brought me here, and have not disappointed. Very interesting work. You work with very high quality engineers. If you see something you want to do, you can just do it and no one will stop you. Showing ownership is encouraged and rewarded. Compensation and reward increases are generous and seem given fairly. Growth trajectory looks promising from both a career and company standpoint.

Cons

The work can be demanding. People who feel deep ownership and responsibility for their work will succeed, but if you don’t, the demands may not feel worth it to you. This won’t be a company for everyone. At the same time, avoiding burnout is a priority for management and roles are being added as fast as possible to reduce workload.

Pros

A majority of the company is filled with good-willed, nice, curious people across AI, aviation, geospatial, engineering and instructional spaces.

Cons

Too many of the operational decisions are made by sof guys with virtually zero experience in any of the fields relevant to the company...including strategic operations or even tactical isr. Too many has-beens used to working with no oversight. Money and equipment constantly disappearing. The company is like a toddler walking around in their parents clothes. Poor scaling. Almost non-existent safety considerations. Prior service in corporate is always something that needs to be addressed but the amount of sof guys this company employees just so they can put "elite" in every tagline is ridiculous. They complain constantly just to freeze or meltdown in the lightest stressful situations. Virtually unteachable so they are removed and elevated into positions that avoid that dynamic. We can't get people to stop being vindictive bigots every time they are corrected or called out for lying in a meeting to save our lives but we sure will platform the latest self-help garbage from some other hack of a seal because so-in-so met him once or likes his podcast.
