Pros
I have worked at Trendline Interactive full-time for over 3 years in the Chicago office. I can honestly say that this is the best company I have ever worked for. The management, at all levels, treat you with the utmost respect and encourage you to grow and develop your career. I have been enabled to to develop myself professionally and personally while working here and moved into a management role that didn't even exist when I was hired. I have never had that feeling of dread when heading into work at Trendline. In fact, I am excited for work and take great pride in what I am able to accomplish while there. The office environment can be described with the old cliche "work hard, play hard." The employees in Chicago and all very dedicated to the work we perform, and at the same time support each other in both a personal and professional manner, from the entry-level team members to our co-founder. I really cannot say enough good things about this company and the people who work there.
Cons
The team is spread out through the US from New Jersey to LA and everywhere in between. There are time zone and cultural differences between the offices which can sometimes make it difficult to collaborate if you are a typical 9-5 worker. Clients are also spread out which can sometimes require that you work early or stay late to get the job done. If you are looking for a traditional office environment with clearly defined roles and bureaucracy with a set 9-5 work day, this job is not for you.
