Pros
Supervisory level people were well trained, make good decisions, etc. Hourly ranks for the most part great folks, some real PITA's.
Cons
Pay was below expectations, raises were pitifu, insurance was lacking but most of all upper management, plant managers, area managers were abysmal. No forwarding thinking, throw you under the bus to cover for their inadequacies, etc. Good old boys club. Plant manager in over his head protecting sub par managers, more worried about the troubles in his personal life than the plant. Guy couldn't be trusted, took credit for others ideas and blamed everyone when things went wrong. Typical of most of the "Carnation generation". The Mgt. Training program a hazing of new supervisors, to "separate the men from the boys" Really how 1930's.
