Pros

They hire almost anyone great to get your foot in the door. The job itself is challenging and rewarding, great customers and amazing coworkers. Very good insurance.

Cons

There is a reason they are always hiring, they will tell you it’s the hours but that’s not the case. They do not value their employees. Management is changed around yearly so that managers don’t build relationships with workers. Something that always stuck with me, Larry Silvi hired me and told me “if you have a bad attitude don’t take the job”. Well that threw me off but after 5 years I understood. Employees don’t start out with a bad attitude but you can only be beat down and taken advantage of for so long. I was hoping to make this the final stop in my career but you can’t stay somewhere that you always have to be looking over your shoulder. They have cameras installed in their trucks facing forward, at the driver, and reverse. These record ALL the time and have in cab audio. I was called upstairs for things as petty as drinking a coffee. My advice to anyone applying here would be do your homework use Silvi as a stepping stone if you have to. Don’t plan on staying long, have an exit strategy. I was not fired or let go I realized that this wasn’t the place to stay for long and waited till I found a job that people stay at till they retire.

Cons

I applied to be a driver through indeed. I was reached out to by their recruiting team and started the process of being hired I was offered a offer letter as well. Let's fast forward to about 3 weeks later after doing all their onboarding process. Background check, Drug test, physical, which I had a current medical card that I got a week before applying to Silvi that was valid and current. They still made me see their doctor at Concentra who messed it all up and requested me to do things I didn't need done. Now I have to fix that. So this process took over 3 weeks. I finished everything and was waiting for a official start date only for them to come back and tell me that they will not employ me due to my background check (NO serious charges) 1 charge is 22yrs OLD, and the other is 11yrs old. Now why would you waste my time and have me complete everything only to get to the finish line and tell me you will not hire me??? That is beyond unprofessional. Also dealing with your HR representative was a headache as well. My advice would be to do your background check first or disclose you do not hire for certain charges before you have anyone go through any part of your dreadful process. This is a driver position update your wants in 2026. I had the experience and the ability to do the job and you passed on it.
