Pros
- Nice new office - Some really helpful colleagues - More office perks and outing lately
Cons
- Everything else - The NY office life science team is especially toxic and the projects i've had with them were unbearable. - Upper management hides things from everyone all the time and sometimes we'll have coworkers leave w/o being able to say goodbye and w/o notice and w/o explanation. - Long hours (but that's a given in consulting) - extremely toxic at the partner level which clearly trickles down to mid level management, making life hell for any younger folks. - Mid level management in the LS division said "i really don't care about other people. it's not like they matter" (rather concerning since they work in healthcare) - Took the first opportunity i had to leave - extremely high turnover (this is common everywhere but when I joined, 70% of the office had been there less than 8 months). People realize it's a toxic workplace, everyone's just scared of speaking up. - Barely any people of color. Did not meet any Black consultants, and 95% of the office is white and asian. - I needed months of therapy to recover from my year at SKP. -like the other reviews have said, you're better off being unemployed than work in their LS NY office
