There's 3 Simon Kucher's I worked for. Before Covid, during Covid and post Covid. Before Covid: Good collaborative environment, camaraderie, fun events, pleasant 'in office" work atmosphere. Partners are the bosses of course but they never truly came off as "bosses" Easy open door policy, no issues getting some face time. During Covid: Absolutely amazing support, everyone truly understood what was at stake and pulled together to do the absolute best they could. After Covid: See CONS.
Cons
After Covid: Company became a faceless corporation. People became numbers. Facetime and open door absolutely disappeared, lack of regard for anyone despite their work ethic, contribution, and skills. Absolute lack of transparency, people were let go on a whim, absolutely no HR support for anyone. HR turnover nearly 100% in a matter of 2 years, the current HR are full servants of the partners. Partners themselves with some minuscule exceptions have embraced this. The same ones who applauded everyone during Covid, decided that the only way they can be bosses again is by having their minions in the office. Hybrid yes, but very much frowned upon if you do adhere to it.
