Simpson Thatcher hired a person who was fired from my current firm after having defrauded that same employer through time time fraud and outright lying. To add insult to injury he was terrible at his job and made significant mistakes that put clients at jeopardy. There is no logical explanation for the fact an inept boorish clown would be hired over a candidate with a significantly better resume but a name that is considered "normal" (Brett) other than a focus on maintaining white mediocrity.
