Messy, dirty, and dingy are all words I would use to describe Waltonwood. I worked there for less than a year and after about two weeks I was treated like a manager, asked to create schedules, give feedback to employees and train the new servers before I even knew the correct way to do things, This job made me never want to even put anyone in an independent or assisted living home. I worked both in AL and IL and while I was thrown into the role of AL where my only instructions were "they have allergies that could kill them" no other instructions, the worst job of my life. the kitchen staff was creepy and we were hit on and groped constantly. Kitchen management openly talked about doing drugs at work and showing up high and drunk. It was common to hear caregivers talk about neglecting residents and make remarks about purposefully hiding from their residents.
