Negative atmosphere with little growth - Music Programming SiriusXM Employee Review

Managers work hard to protect their power and freebies from the music industry, while terrorizing others. It's a power-playing workplace, managing up is a competitive game - plenty of backstabbing and gossip. No growth for many, and especially women. I work with one who's smarter than everyone but overlooked and will soon leave. Ego-driven decision making. Bad hires get in, and remain, as managers don't want to admit they hired poorly. Lower-level employees are marginalized, but need the paycheck in a shrinking industry. Customers come last, sadly.
