Pros

Free radio subscription although XM was much more generous prior to the merge.

Cons

If you’re below senior management, you’ll be paid table scraps with no raises given. While top executives are paid seven figure salaries, others are expected to give the most and getting the least in return. “Human Resources” staff are very arrogant as is most employees of other departments such as the types that deal directly with booking talent. Most employees are just numbers to them. Speaking of talent, where the “fishbowl” studio is in 1221 Avenue of the Americas is an embarrassment. Dirty and unpresentable. Visible disparities. Now that the company is doing much better than ten years ago, where’s the holiday party? I forgot, the ice cream and pizza socials are supposed to placate us. It is embarrassing that a company based in Manhattan doesn’t have a real party.

Pros

Great work place with fun people

Cons

One of the biggest challenges is that most people start as part-time employees. Given the current state of the radio industry, there isn't much room for raises or upward mobility. In many cases, the only way to advance is to wait for someone else to leave so that a full-time position becomes available.
