Pros
Flexible work schedule and good benefits
Cons
-Expect to be paid 10%-15% lower than market rate -Expect low bonuses -Never grateful for your hard work, I worked 2 jobs for 6 months when someone left and all I got was more work. They do not appreciate you here - no thank you, no good job, no extra $ at bonus time -Don't expect kudos or recognition for your work -Despite my hard work, I was laid off about a month before buying a new house. My boss knew I was buying a house. I nearly lost my house as a result. And this was after 5 years with the company. They truly DGAF. They'll use you when they need you, and then easily turn their back on you. -3 people were laid off on my team - all South Asians. What a coincidence!? -My boss didn't have the nerve to talk to me when they laid me off. My VP and SVP didn't have the guts to call me or even email me after spending 5 years at the company. Cowards. I called into a regular meeting on zoom, HR was there, and they told me it was my last day. That was it. They locked me out of my computer and I couldn't even say bye to my co-workers. And all 1 month before they knew I was trying to close on a house. If that's not effed up, I don't know what is. Highly unprofessional.
