Pros

- Half Day Fridays - Co-Workers are great

Cons

- Everything is political and everyone works in silos. Management talks about collaboration but fosters separation/low morale by promoting those who receive magic "face time" with upper management. You will hear "face time" quite a bit here. - People that do the actual work are not recognized for their contribution. - Exorbitant amount of time working on presentations for upper management that are incessantly reviewed prior to these meetings to ensure upper management is pleased. Also, you will spend hours on these decks only to have your information not presented in the meeting at all. - Not about the work, it's about pleasing the bosses. Upper management talks about ideas but just wants to be told yes. - Work on project launches for months and months. Post-launch everything changes - No long term priorities. Everything shifts minute to minute. - Companies idea to boost morale was to bring people back to the office even though no one really ever came to the office pre-Covid. - For Diversity and Inclusion, they are trying but again it's mainly upper management talking during a monthly all hands meeting with no discussion. If you enjoy sitting on calls all day, wondering why so-and-so keeps getting promoted while you do all the work then SiriusXM is the place for you!

Pros

Great work place with fun people

Cons

One of the biggest challenges is that most people start as part-time employees. Given the current state of the radio industry, there isn't much room for raises or upward mobility. In many cases, the only way to advance is to wait for someone else to leave so that a full-time position becomes available.
