Pros

The people and culture are the best part about working here. You make life-long friends & connections with the people here. Company events are hosted often (at least once a month) & there’s always food & drinks. Ping pong table & PS4 in break room are great for team-building & de-stressing. Lots of opportunity for growth & gaining knew knowledge/skills. Company likes to promote within so if you are a hard-worker & take initiative, you will likely be considered for promotions. Great place to work if you like to embrace challenge and have a desire to improve the company you work for.

Cons

Upper management still needs some work. Lots of favoritism with certain departments and people that can get away with doing something that might otherwise get somebody else fired (like bringing your squawking pet bird into the office). Some department supervisors are apathetic, lazy, and/or straight up unknowledgable. Feels like you have to babysit/micromanage other departments in order for them to complete the requests you send them. No benefits for part time employees. Insurance for full time employees is pretty expensive. Employees aren’t praised/appreciated as much as they should be.

Hey there! We are delighted to hear that you enjoy our work culture. Sixt provides a “work hard, play hard” approach to work. Our USA Headquarters is located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Our cafeteria/break room has a ping pong table, PS4, and arcade games with a state of the art espresso machine. Sixt offers growth opportunities to individuals who show passion for what they do, and make Sixt a better place to work. We are dismayed to hear you believe our management shows favoritism. We work hard to ensure a fair and balanced work environment is provided for all. Although Sixt is not a pet friendly employer, pets in the workplace have proven to improve employee morale, attract more talent, and improve employee bonds which motivates better work. Supervisors have the authority to allow pets into the premise based upon circumstance (ex- pet sitting while a co-worker is out, recruitment photoshoots, marketing schemes). We’re sad to hear you did not enjoy having a new friendly face in the office. Sixt works hard to ensure competent and knowledgeable personnel run our departments. Some tasks may require extra research or multiple departments. We apologize for any delay in responses. Sixt also provides affordable health, dental, a vision insurance to all full- time employees. We even offer better premiums to those employees who stay and have tenure. We’ll forward your advice over to the correct department. Thanks for your review!

Pros

It's an unrecognized job by management, they don't care about you unless you make them more money so they get bonuses. All they care about is performance metrics, no matter what you do to your co-workers.

Cons

Expected to work in an outdated color arrangement that is mostly black. When it's 100 degrees out, on hot asphalt, not ideal. They expect you to log the tiniest damage so that they can bill the customer. Do they not take depreciation on the cars. Their fuel gages are wonky and don't work right. I believe they are charging customers for fuel when they shouldn't.
