Pros

Such a fun job. If you love traveling and airports, this is a great career choice. Training was about 5 weeks out in Utah you stay out there the whole time maybe 2 or 1 day off. Met some of my best friends there. Also if you have a family make sure you have a solid support system, as this requires frequent days away and spontaneous clock in times.

Cons

Pay is okay, not up to date with main line. Training was pretty tough but doable.

Pros

Pay is horrible for almost everyone at headquarters. At poverty level starting pay and on a fixed raise scale that gives $.10 or $.20 per year. Not what you would expect for a large company like this. It is also inconsistent. How is HDQ Maintenance able to give $3 overrides but not other departments? There is always turnover since the pay is so low so it is actually costing the company more than if they just gave decent raises. And everyone gets the same raise so there is no incentive to work harder. Management is inconsistent: they don’t enforce policy for some employees, let some work remote but not others, let remote employees slack off while they watch their kids or have other jobs on the clock, and create part-time jobs for people they like.

Cons

The CEO does not show integrity: holding a plane for his daughter and then bumping a first class passenger for her. Adding his son as an intern so he can get flight benefits (hasn’t worked here a day). He makes millions while underpaying everyone else.
