Pros
Though we do have the luxury of working in a very "in" industry, the team is what gets me up in the morning. I'm constantly in awe of my coworkers. They're some of the top talent in their respective fields, and their knowledge and experience is matched by their humility and hard work. We are literally the first and only drone company in the world to achieve machine-to-machine automation in construction with drones. To be a young startup and already be working with some of the largest companies in the world including Komatsu, Bechtel and Chevron is mind-blowing and a testament to the caliber of this company and this team. My teammates were deployed to Nepal two days after the first earthquake, were there on the ground through the second tremor, and we maintained a steady rotation there for almost 2 months, providing relief supplies, mapping disaster zones and working with UNESCO. That's how Skycatch Relief our non-profit humanitarian relief effort was born. How many other tech startups are doing things like that at 2 years old? To work with brilliant people with big hearts is something I'm grateful for every day.
Cons
Fast pace and no handholding, I myself appreciate it but I know it's not for everybody.
