Cons
Change is difficult for most, and admittedly very difficult for me personally when I started at Slickdeals. As humans, we naturally seek stability and predictability because it offers a sense of security. However, even though change can be uncomfortable or daunting, it plays a crucial role in personal growth, adaptation, and long-term well-being. While it was difficult in the beginning, working in an environment that operates with the dynamic energy of a start-up has helped me become more resilient and has allowed me to strengthen my problem-solving skills. Though the end result of navigating change has been incredibly rewarding for me, I recognize that this kind of environment may not be the right fit for everyone.
