Pros

-Excellent opportunities for professional development. Management really wants to see you advance and succeed in your role and they work closely with you to help achieve your goals. -Flexible schedule, three required in-office days and two work from home days makes the work/life balance a little easier. -Fosters a very inclusive workplace. Coworkers are respectful and professional, but easy to get along with and always make you feel welcome. -Chicago office is spacious and in a great location -A comfortable place to ask questions and get clarification, especially during onboarding and with management/coworkers

Cons

Certainly not a con - more of a challenge. Smithbucklin is a complex company that offers multiple services, uses specific terminology, and its structure cannot be learned overnight. It may take a few months to fully understand Smithbucklin and be able to confidently describe everything we do, but as you get used to understanding the association world and you grow in your role, it's very rewarding. Point being -- don't be discouraged if it takes a little time to learn the ropes.
